FESTIVAL IS READY TO OPEN THE DOORS AND ROCK OUT

      Major artist are on the phone, signs are up, the grass is sprouting its way through on the hill, all of the construction is completed and looking amazing and the stage doors are ready to show off this summer’s hottest acts. It is an amazing view, a huge stage on the 35 rolling acres of the festival grounds. Everyone is gearing up for an intense fun filled summer of music, laughter, memories and down to earth great fun. To say the least Mountain Rock and Country Music Festivals is ready to rock and roll the right way this summer and for many other summers to come.

      The time is finally here. After years of hard work from all of the festival staff stage lights will soon fill the night sky of Farwell, Michigan. The weather is great and summer fever is here to help kick off the festival season. With only a few short weeks until the first festival ever at the biggest stage in Michigan there is a sense of excitement throughout the area including surrounding business owners, residents and future guest of the Mountain Rock and Country Music Festivals.

FESTIVAL GOERS WILL ENJOY MORE THAN JUST MUSIC 

      Not only with festival goers rock out to some of today hottest country and rock stars at this summer’s two festivals they will have plenty of other entertainment to keep them going all four days long.

      Festival planners have made sure to offer a variety of activities for guests of all ages to partake in. There is going to be various sports to play, bars to relax in, acres and acres of land to enjoy and other types of art to enjoy besides music.

      One of the sporting activities that guest will be able to compete in is two different sand volleyball courts. The festival has built two nicely filled sand lots for volleyball tournaments to go on. At the festival there is going to be signup sheets and brackets made for mini-tournaments to go on all four days. Teams of two or four players will be able to battle it out through the tournament to be crowned the country of rock festival volleyball champion.

      Paint ball is also going to be a big hit at the two festivals. There is going to be a paint ball shooting range set up for everyone to practice their aiming skills. Offered at a very reasonable price, this is one event among many to keep everyone excited while they wait for their favorite act to get on the stage.

      For all of vehicle enthusiast at the festival, there is going to be a huge giveaway. One lucky guest to each festival is going to win a Toyota Tundra. There is a link on the festival websites to register and win (www.mtrockfest.com or www.mtcountryfest.com).Toyota is also showing up with some of their hottest trucks for guest to check out. Toyota is going to let guest test drive their Toyota Tundra, the official truck of the festivals. There is going to be a test track set up for everyone to zoom around in the Tundra. 

MOUNTAIN MUSIC FESTIVALS SET DETAILS FOR BATTLE OF THE BANDS 

      Mountain Rock and Mountain Country Festivals are pleased to announce the success of Battle of the Bands Voting. Public voting has started and is now in full swing to decide the top five bands from each of the festival websites (www.mtrockfest.com and www.mtcountryfest.com). The public chooses the top five; they are then advanced onto a live performance at the finals. Voting is going well and will continue until June 12th for country and July 10th for rock.

      The finals for the Mountain country Festival battle of the bands are going to be held at Tequila Willy’s in Grand Rapids on June 16th at five p.m. The finals for the Mountain Rock Festival battle are going to be held at Castaway’s in Bay City on the July 14th. The show is free for the public to come and cheer on their favorite band. Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges; made up of radio personalities, festival staff and essentially the fans. 

      Three winners from each competition will perform live on the festivals on the main stage outdoor amphitheater in Michigan. Other competitors at the Battle of the Bands will be have the opportunity to be performing in the beer gardens at the festival. One very lucky band will win a live four hour sound and recording session with SoundCrafters. Judges will be made up of representatives from the radio stations and sponsors.
