I received this from Trippy Ramble:
"Since Joan Duncan died, her family has pulled together to give a home to her children. Now, a benefit is being planned for them as well.
The benefit for daughter Devon Jade Duncan, 13, and son James "Jimmy" Andrew Mitchell, 6, is set for
noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Rodeitcher Restaurant and Lounge, at the corner of Freeland and Midland roads in Freeland.
Featured at the benefit will be four bands, including GloveBox, Trippy Ramble and Mrs. Crabtree, and a silent auction for items donated by businesses.
A $5 donation at the door buys an entry in a drawing for items including gas cards.
Memorials in Joan’s name also can be made to her children in care of the Members First Credit Union, 400 Dartmouth Drive.
That's part of the newspaper article today.
I know a lot of people can't go,but if you can go please do, it will mean a lot to her children and the rest of her family."
Here's the article from the Midland Daily news regarding Joan's family.
