"We will be hosting another Jamboree on Sunday Feb. 4, 2007. At the Larkin Township Hall from 3:00 to 7:00. The first one went great.
We had about 15 to 20 musicians and a crowd of about 40 music lovers and dancers. The hall is very nice for this type of activity; with ample room for a dance floor space.
All in all the first Jam was a success. We would like to see more music lovers and more musicians come out. It is a great opportunity for people just learning how to play to play along with other people.
We make a list of musicians as they come in and everyone gets a turn to perform or sing if they want to. It is kind of like an open mic event.
Some musicians just want to stay in the background and jam along; that’s OK too. Feel free to contact us about some photos that were taken at the event.
