Mid-Michigan Community Action Agency's 16th Annual

WALK FOR WARMTH

February 24, 2007
Midland Mall
7:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Mid-Michigan Community Action Agency is a non-profit agency providing emergency financial assistance to the local community. Walk for Warmth is an annual event that raises money for families in need of help with their heat and utility costs. Participants collect pledges to walk, and all money is donated to the agency. 100% of the money received during this fundraiser goes to the local community to support those in need.

We invite you to join us in our fundraising efforts; whether you walk or donate, you can make a difference.
We are looking for a few good bands to perform (volunteer) If you know of anyone that might be interested contact Christy or Lauri at 832-7377.

INFORMATION:

Stage and sound equipment provided for entertainment in the food court area.

Mall access will be available at 7:00 a.m.

Entertainment will need to be set up/ready to go by 7:30 a.m., and will entertain while walkers register, until opening ceremonies begin at 8:30 a.m.

Opening ceremonies will take place for approximately thirty minutes. We would ask that the entertainment wait until after opening ceremonies to remove any equipment of their own, as the stage will be in use.

The crowd will be diverse, but overall pretty conservative. We are looking for entertainment that is low-key but still a little peppy. The goal is more like background music as opposed to a full out performance.

Walk for Warmth is the annual fundraiser for the Mid-Michigan Community Action Agency, a non-profit agency. All involved in the walk are donating their time and talent.
