6-21-07 Board Meeting

In attendance: Dennis Beson, Ed Kerns, Dan Deitsch, Paul Sery, Bill Morand, Scott Briggs, David Dauer and Nellie Mundhenk
Absent: Audrea DeLong, Chris Mundhenk

Pig Gig discussion
- Dennis Beson initiates discussion on dStreet enlisting volunteers for the Pig Gig. Eight volunteers needed a night for four nights
- David Dauer appointed volunteer coordinator
- Suggestion made for Parkapalooza handbills to be handed out at the Pig Gig.
- Suggestion for dStreet "Security" T-shirts to be worn by volunteers at the Pig Gig.

New Logo discussion
- Nellie Mundhenk presented designs for a new dStreet logo.
- Board discussed designs as well as a possible name change. No resolutions were brought.

Parkapalooza update
- Dennis Beson set a goal for each board member to try to raise $500 in contributions.
- Dennis Beson discussed the status of the fundraising
- Paul Sery presented update on the Kids Coral and Northwood University's participation in that event.
- Paul also mentioned talking with the Jaycees to sponsor the Sand Sculpting event.

Greg Bever Benefit - October 25th
- Dennis Beson presented information on the Greg Bever benefit to take place on October 25th in Bay City.
- Volunteers needed for ushers and security.
- Event set up to create scholarships in the name of Greg Bever, former member of the Sinclairs band who passed away recently.

Webmaster Discussion
- Dan Deitsch stated to the board he would no longer be able to take the lead in running the dStreet website.
- Scott Briggs volunteered for the position of webmaster, board unanimously approved Scott to the position.
