Presentation by Gary Skorry, Midland Historical Society
- Midland Historical Society will be putting on event: "Walk through Time, Taste of Wine"
- The Historical Society petitioned the Board for the use of a liquor licence for the event.
- Event to be held on December 8th 2007 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.
- Since the liquor licence will be Dstreet's, there will need to be volunteers to oversee the distribution of spirits
- Board agrees to hold vote until end of meeting
Presentation by Bob Martin of Review Magazine
- Mr. Martin is looking to establish an online portal that would promote entertainment in the mid-michigan region.
- Mr. Martin proposed a partnership between Review Magazine and Dstreet to help establish this new portal.
- Board agreed to discussion later in the meeting
Parkapalooza Recap
- A financial recap was presented by Dennis Beson.
- Discussion of positives and negatives related to the event.
Vote on Historical Proposal
- Vote : "To Allow Midland Historical Society to use two (2) liquor licences for the 'Walk through Time.." event and to incur initial cost for obtaining the licence, to be reimbersed by the Historical Society"
- Motion by Ed Kerns, second by Scott Briggs. Vote 4-0 with Dan Deitsch abstaining.
Treasurer's Report
- Discussion to have time reserved at every meeting for Treasurer's report.
